Ellie Johnson
MBACP Integrative Therapist

A warm welcome to my profile
I’m Ellie, an Integrative Therapist, an accredited registrant with the NCPS, and a registered member of the BACP.
The purpose of my work is to help clients build trust in who they are, through an honest and collaborative space. When we can accept ourselves with compassion and understanding, we can address the things which cause us pain, keeps us stuck or no longer serve us.
You deserve to feel heard and accepted, and to be met honestly wherever you are at this point in your life. My integrative approach draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, based on the belief that every person is unique, so the way of working should reflect this. Together, we’ll shape the process in a way that is tailored around who you are as a individual.
I have particular experience supporting clients with abuse and trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and attachment difficulties, women’s health issues and depression.
My Therapeutic Approach
Integrative Methods
I draw from a rich blend of training - Gestalt, CBT, Existential therapy, Transactional Analysis, Attachment theory amongst others - tailoring our work to what feels right for you.
Person-Centered
My integrative approach is rooted in person-centred theory, which defines my role as being alongside you in discovering your own inner healing wisdom.
Our Working Relationship
Therapy can be a space to meet yourself more honestly - sometimes for the first time. Finding the right therapist is crucial to feeling safe, seen, and understood. You deserve someone who feels right for you.
